Optimistic
May. 26th, 2004 07:49 amAgainst all oddes, I came in today and found I only had 4 patients.
This is good. I am optimistic about my chances of getting out of here early. This would be good. I am currently wearing a soft-fog large particle surgical mask and am considering upgrading to the particulate (TB) mask.
Up-side: I have a harder time spreading infection this way.
Down-side: the inside of my mask is now coated in yuck (that's okay, I have six more in my pocket)
Considering how hard it would be to give medicine up for good. I love gen peds. I do. And right now, I like all four of the patients on my census: one's a term baby with seizures secondary to hypocalcemia (yes, slithytove, we have a PTH & DiGeorge pending), two are twins (one with necrotizing enterocolitis and one without) and one is just a little girl who's feeding and groooooowing.
