Another saturday call
Oct. 9th, 2004 02:47 pmHere all weekend, again.
By 'all', I mean that I worked a full day Friday, came home, met Mike, gathered the Roo up from his Aunt Kim, thanked her profusely and drove straight to Sakura to meet CJ the birthday boy and the rest of Mrissa's family and a Pam and a David and a Lydy and an Eric.
We had a good time, but when dinner was over and everyone else got to retire for bombers, Mike and I took the Roo home. I could have stayed and had Mrissa's family drive me home, but I always feel too much residual parent guilt.
After all, I'm not home with him this weekend. I'm stuck here for a 30-hours-straight shift. It's not fair to make Mike deal with crankety-Roo.
