See you in '08.

When I was younger, I thought I'd be unimaginably old in 2000.

I'd be *25*.

I'd be done with COLLEGE.

I'd be married, maybe have kids, maybe... I didn't know, because the mind boggled.

I never thought beyond the year 2000.

Here we are, 8 years later than I ever thought of imagining back when I was 12 or 13.

I have a good life, a fantastic spouse and 2 great kids. Life is unpredictable, filled with challenges, tiring and always varied. The schedule is a tightly run (read: sinking) ship. I do something different every day-- heck, every 15 minutes. :) I have friends who I love who I never see enough of. :) I have good books to read (some written by the aforementioned friends), shiny beads to play with, a TV and the Itnarweb for entertainment. I have karate to teach me to live more in my body, and weapons training for the hell of learning an obsolete art.

I'm reluctant to make any resolutions for 2008, lest the fates prove malicious and try to bite my nose off.

If you want to leave your suggestions for what you think I should resolve in comments, I certainly won't bite your nose off for it, and I *will* give those suggestions much thought and possibly even some action.

For those of you who do make resolutions, I wish only that you will be able to keep the wise ones, discard the foolish ones, and have the wisdom to discern which are which.

I hope to see more of each and every one of you in 2008. :)
