Alive. End. House. Aging.

Still standing.

Came to get Roo from daycare today, since it was his last day there, and when I came, he was lying on his cot.

When he saw me, he started crying, big fat tears.  "Noooo," he mumbled.  "It's NOT time to go yet."

Except it was.

Tomorrow, Mike gets to put the second story porch back together again.  I get to be kidcare.

Then, if all has gone well, we'll be ripping the drywall out of the back entryway (wet drywall was never meant to *be*), and then I'm calling a caesura on all home improvement projects requiring my involvement until After WFC.

Right now, I've got the computer downstairs, the wireless going, piles of fresh laundry all over the house, and am anticipating Marissa's party.

I seem to have been listed on an 'under-30' list.  I might as well enjoy it while it lasts:  I won't be 'under-30' for much longer.  Less than a month!

Funny how fast half one's life slips away...

Ah, okay. With WFC in Madison and Ditto in Milwaukee, it looks like this was really the year to be a fan in Wisconsin.

What?

Half one's life??? You only intend to be SIXTY when you die? I'm gonna be kickin' around this rock for at LEAST 80 or 90 years...
