So it's really cold here.
REALLY cold.
-35 F with wind chill. -8 F without.
And the patients, god bless them, are still taking smoke breaks outside.
The problem with this is that IV fluid bags and medication pumps aren't insulated, so the fluids are freezing after about 5 minutes out there...
Solution? Well, obviously, we're going to swaddle the pumps with insulating material to keep the fluids from freezing.
Wouldn't want anyone to have to go without their cigarette break, would we?
