ATC.

"The thing about houses," Mike's graduate school advisor said, "is that when something goes wrong, it either costs a grand, or five grand.  And then when it comes to remodeling a room, it usually costs 10 to twenty percent of the purchase price of the house."

We haven't tried remodeling yet.  Repainting, yep.  Wallpaper removal, yep.  Putting in garbage disposal, yep.

But I've found that the first bit of what Victor had to tell us is indeed correct.

*shakes head and finds another garage door company to call*

Just a little comment: good garage doors are expensive - if someone can do one for you for under 1k, I'd be a bit wary, as many of the cheaper ones do not last. I am not the expert in any way on garage doors, but I know enough to be dangerous...at least to your pocket book.

And...have you checked your g-mail lately? *cough*

It's more a 'I want this done now rather than in a month' that's making me call around to different companies.

I did just check gmail: no new messages.

Am I missing something?

Huh. I'll send it again. :P
