Intermittent.

New computer, named 'Intermittent'.*

It's a Mac, and I'm just starting to get used to the software.

It's been a productive morning already: have made appointment for plumber to come and put a 'planter' in the 'plant room'. (The downstairs bathroom which has no toilet? Was billed as a plant room by the real estate agent. We may never shake the label.)

Have counted up the things I need from Home Depot.

Will be headed to North Memorial shortly to check out a baby with some physical exam findings of a more common sort that I did not see during residency.

How are you?

(*Yes, it's a stupid joke. Yes, my iPod is named 'Acute', and my phone is named 'Porphyria'.)

It may be a stupid joke, but I think it's hilarious.

Gratz on the new computer. You know you have Kentish and I to lean on if you need any Mac support.

How am I doing? Enh. At least it's sunny outside.

You want a stupid joke?

My computer is named "Computer Name" and the main user is called "Your Name". Why?

Because during installation, a Windows dialogue appeared that read, "Type in your name." I obliged, after the addition of a few quotes.

Yay for new computers!

I have a million nicknames for people and pets, but I never name things. I wonder why.

I named my car, but have not yet named my computer. *ponders*

*decides to name coffee machine instead* It is now my Alertness Integrator, or AI.

Yeah. That works. (And sooo glad you survived residency and love the new job!)
