No jobs turns into 'a few jobs in out of the way places'.
There're some positions opening up with Partners in Peds, here in the cities. That'd be good-- it's a large group, I wouldn't have to worry about a buy-in, I could just work part or full time.
There are some hospitalist positions opening up in Coon Rapids with Allina. That'd be 3 or 4 24-hour shifts every 14 days or so. That wouldn't be so bad.
There's maybe some moonlighting at various places, once I get my license.
Had a good time in cards clinic today, although it was, sadly, not a poker clinic but a heart-disease clinic. There were a lot of patients there for 'evaluation of new murmur', which was fun. The two kids there for syncope were rather less fun; not to say that they weren't great kids, but it's always hard to tell a parent, "There's nothing we can do to make this go away. We can help manage the symptoms, but there's no medicine we can give your child to make this better."
