So much of medicine is sitting and waiting for other people to get their stuff together. Even if you're the one in charge.
I'm not sure it's the most efficient system ever, and for a naturally impatient, easily bored person like me, it's *agony*. AGONY.
Dena came over last night for pizza and to burn a CD; every time I see her my back aches in sympathy because she is sleeping on a very thin futon, waiting for the movers to get her stuff.
I haven't written anything new, or added words to anything previously written, or edited or critted anything since late last week.
There's an element of surreality to being here but not being on call, to showing up for half-or-full days, to having no real responsibilities. It's like being a med student all over again.
I don't mind it at all.
