Without the routine of most of my days, I forget to put the pedometer on.
Hence, no steps yesterday.
No treadmill either, and all I can say is, I would have been better off to spend time on the treadmill than watching _King Arthur_. Why did I ever think Kiera Knightley could act?
I'm still about 2 days per 4 for exercise. Will have to try to do better this week.
On the plus side: Tea yesterday was *really* fun. Nice group of people, most of whom knew at least one other group of people at the table. Robin was very two, *again*, but people were gracious about it. Roo talked most, later, about playing with his Ungark, and Micha-e-l (that's how he says it: Mikay-ee-ell)playing the drums, which impressed him mightily.
Plus, Michael thought I didn't SEE him sneaking cookies onto the plate in the dining room. But I did. Muahahaha.
On the minus side? Two rejections this morning: one from Interzone, one from Strange Horizons. Just an extra kick in the head for a Monday that came too early.
Three stories primed and ready to go as soon as I find envelopes and stamps this evening. I'm feeling rather full of ennui. I don't care about the rejections. I'm just putting one foot in front of another this morning, and spinal reflex says: "Rejected? Okay, send it back out again."
Tonight it will probably hurt. Today I'm ground too thin by Roo popping out of bed every half hour all night long to care.
