There are a lot of good things I could write about, regarding the weekend.

The drum jam, which Roo absolutely loved and I enjoyed (I am a better drummer, I think, when I'm not having to watch for the kid...).  Best moment there was when he hauled Michael to his feet and said, "YOU DANCE!"

Dinner at Sakura, with Dena watching the kid, and Mike and I gorging on sushi-- it was our first date out in 8 months.  Given what the price tag was on it?  We didn't go for dinner or coffee afterward.  We came straight home, and I went straight to bed.

Dinner with Timprov and Mrissa, CJ and Mark tonight.  Even though Roo was a pill, it was still clear that Mrissa's family loves him.  (Yes, sometimes I worry that his behavior will make people Not Want to invite us places; we're working on that with lots of time outs, but no spankings.)

The walk up to the trial gardens, and the walk around Marcy-Holmes and Art Thief Central.

Plus, things are looking up, emotionally (must remember to take Zoloft more than 3 days out of 7) and health-wise.  Although I'm not losing weight, I am having fewer problems with apnea and back pain.  At least part of the dastardly plan is working!

House inspection Wednesday at 1 pm if you're the praying type.  Then, all we have to do is find someone to rent this place, and we're golden.

So if you know anyone interested in renting a cat-ok, 1.5 story1915 Craftsman Cottage with wood built-ins, hardwood floors, sunroom, buffet, 1.75 baths, 3 BR, garge & 1 off-street parking space, fenced in yard with wood privacy fencing, great neighbors and first floor washer/dryer for 1375/month + utilities in St. Anthony Park, starting 8/1?

I wouldn't mind if you pointed them our way.

Of course we love him. He is our Robbieroo. We all have days like that, it's just that two-year-olds still show it. He's much better than most two-year-olds, and a few hours is much easier to deal with than all day every day.

Have you tried listing on the Twin Cities area lj community? They sometimes have rental places etc. listed.

I hadn't.

I didn't know there was one.

Now, verily, do I know that LJ encompasses the whole span of the Earth!

(He woke up when we brought him inside and asked for his Missa)

Yay, house inspection! Gogogo house!

Did you ever get a copy of your lease from your landlord? By law, he needs to provide you with a copy (unless Minnesota, St. Paul laws differ from other states).

No, and it's beginning to piss me off.

The landlord lives near you, in Port Townsend, WA.

He has to provide you with a copy of hte lease. THat's the law, plain and simple. If he doesn't provide you with one, there should be remedies under Minnesota law.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Drum Jam. I'm not much of a dancer, but how could I resist Roo!

We've called and left another message with the landlord.
